Volunteer Camping Excursion, Fundraiser and Working Bee at
An exciting opportunity to take part in a two day working bee, volunteering your time to help out this amazing Wildlife Shelter. We will be helping to care and feed native wildlife, be working on repairing animal enclosures, garden maintenance and any assisting with any other jobs that need doing around the Shelter. If you enjoy being outdoors, getting your hands dirty, helping with conservation and learning about wildlife this will be a great opportunity!! All participants will receive a certificate of recognition.
If you would like to participate in this fundraiser we are aiming for everybody to try and fundraise at least $200 each. Hoe you would like to fundraise is completely up to you! This will cover the cost of lunch/dinner and a spot to camp in the shelter on Saturday night. The rest will be donated to The Haven and Warriors 4 Wildlife Inc.
STRICTLY LIMITED SPOTS
Contact Warriors 4 Wildlife on 0401 811 937 for more info or for your fundraising pack.
The Haven is a 140-acre refuge of native bush and pastureland in Yea, Victoria and provides a safe sanctuary where injured or orphaned wildlife can be cared for until they are suitably recovered to allow their safe release back into the wild.
Running adjacent to the Goulburn River, The Haven is surrounded by private bushland and farmland, and is home to a diversity of wildlife that is being rehabilitated, including kangaroos and other macropods, koalas, possums, and a variety of birds and reptiles.
