I have taken at least two thousand calls calls since I started with Warriors 4 Wildlife. Each one has been important, not all have been easy, a lot have been a team effort, all have been rewarding.

Today I was privileged to have these 2 superstars enter my backyard and let the kids and I have a cup of tea in their company.

It is Fledge season and my husband and I giggle at how I say the same thing every day, twenty times and I don't get sick of it. I love being able to educate our members of public, I love being part of a community that promotes a safe enviromentment for wildlife.

I have never seen Tawny's in my yard and I have never had them so close that they have been prepared to sit and be part of our family (from a distance). We appreciated their company for a very short time and let them be.

I really felt today that I was making a difference. There are fewer cats outside, there are far fewer fledglings being picked up (all with the kindest of intentions) on our watch, and I am seeing wildlife that I haven't seen before, in my community.

Keep up the great work team. Keep helping where you can because what ever we are doing.. It's working!
