Found just in time!

This fledgling Tawny Frogmouth had unfortunately fallen down a 2 metre hole on a construction site which was going to be filled with concrete. Luckily a construction worker saw the bird and managed to get the tawny out of the hole and place it in a box.

A phone call to us for advice set off a call-out for one of our rescue and transport volunteers to safely collect the the Tawny Frogmouth and take it to a vet clinic for assessment. We are pleased to say the fledgling is now in care for rehabilitation.
