“I love having the balance of rescuing wildlife first-hand and helping members of the public with advice for injured wildlife over the phone. Having experience as a rescue phone operator has increased my confidence in the identification of wildlife, general knowledge, and rescuing wildlife.” Kaitlyn

What are we up to?

Warriors 4 Wildlife runs an animal rescue hotline in Melbourne, handling 1000’s of calls yearly.

It takes a large amount of volunteers to be able to support our Victorian Shelters and wildlife and we rely on the support of community to help with calling in orphaned and injured wildlife, working on the Rescue Phones, administration, wildlife rescue and transport as well as donating money, goods and services.

Wildlife Shelters receive little government funding and rely on public donations to support injured, sick, orphaned or distressed wildlife requiring rehabilitation so they can safely return to their homes. All donations - big or small, will make a huge impact and go directly to on-the-ground efforts in Victoria.

Below are just some of the rescues that our volunteers perform.
