Juvenile Wombat

Recording an Exact Location

This juvenile wombat was found on a path in a caravan park down in Gipplsand. He was covered in ticks with no parents in sight. Two wonderful members of public found him and picked him up.

Within minutes they called W4W and we were able to find a carer to look after him.

When removing injured or orphaned animals from their location it is always important to record the exact location so carers and rescuers can take them back home once they are ready to be released.
